Using a portable boiler unit, this device blasts a burst of high-pressured steam in order to dissolve ghostly apparitions. After several tests, Mr. Potts added a clockwork sparker unit amplified with a quartz crystal to send a high voltage burst of electricity through the stream of steam and into the apparitions. This electrical charge gave the device just what it needed in order to dissolve the phantasms’ ghostly shroud, leaving a pile of ectoplasmic goo behind.
Also using a portable boiler unit, Jager's creation employs saltwater steam at extremely high pressure and temperature to create Steam Electrolysis using flakes of soluble brass complex as a catalyst. The resulting Hydrogen is mixed with treated ectoplasmic residue within the cannon and ejected in a blast of positively ionized matter in short bursts capable of dissolving animus energy almost instantly.
Thomas Edison wrote of a machine that would be able to detect and record phenomena beyond the grave. This is that machine. The Electronic Voice Phenomena Recorder One was the first of its kind and was a top secret project out of Edison Industries. After making significant improvements to the device, JR’s new EVP-R2 reads and detects white noise that exists in a suspected environment, processes and then amplifies the electronic frequency until an apparition is discovered. This signal can then be decrypted and reversed in signal polarity to detect other similar phenomena.
These supernatural fighting devices include a wooden stake blunderbuss and twin holy water hand blasters. The wooden stakes are propelled by strong elasticized bands, much like a slingshot, within the barrel of the gun. A wooden barrel, strapped to the lower back, contains highly compressed holy water, which is ejected from the blasters, warding off the bloodsucking undead. In order to protect our champion from life-threatening bites to the jugular, leather and brass armour fits snugly around the neck.
This net propulsion device uses highly compressed steam supported by the Porta-Boiler (patent pending), a small furnace and boiler system worn on the lower back. The H.U.G. launches a triangular net around its prey in order to entangle and entrap a foe, allowing members of the League to detain specimens for research.
Mr. Potts recently concocted this safety device after the League suffered the loss of one of their most trusted valets. The collar allows infected individuals, suffering from aggressive fits of reanimation, to maintain a civilized manner among the public. The collar is wound up with a pump that injects a special formula, designed to subdue the tenacious tendencies of the undead, into the spinal column. This pump also supplies nourishing fluids directly into the mouth, satisfying and distracting the wearer from harming the living. As long as the pump stays wound and the timing bell does not ring, it will stop the undead flesh-eating creature from going on a rampage, devouring innocent victims and infecting the world with its unnatural and vile virus . . .
